Freda’s background is one of achievement. She’s a successful business-woman, entrepreneur and community leader, who has received countless awards, honors and recognitions from fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. Freda’s has been a consultant for twenty (20) plus years. She worked for IBM supporting their top fifty (50) Business Partners in the United States to ensure they are well versed and educated (leadership skills). Freda was a consultant for Montgomery Watson/KHAFRA Engineering for 12 years where she spearheaded, documented and educated hundreds of City of Atlanta (COA) employees on Technical Consent Decree Required Training for the repair of municipal infrastructure and safety measures, in addition to a host of other major projects on behalf of COA. Freda was also the minority company leading the construction build-out in DeKalb County Government (Georgia): One DeKalb Neighborhood Resource Center at Northlake Mall in Atlanta, Georgia. Freda is the Founder & CEO of Men of Distinction-Atlanta and Women of Distinction Incorporated. Under her leadership, every year the organizations distribute blankets to the homeless, backpacks filled with school supplies to children living in low-income communities, new bikes during the holidays. She also oversees an annual Health Fair that focuses on free services such as Diabetes Awareness and screenings, Blood Pressure checks, Dental Screenings and more. Annually Scholarship Recipients are announced at WOD Annual Empowerment Luncheon. The Recipients are young ladies in pursuit of higher education. In 2012, under Freda’s leadership the organizations reached out and positively touched well-over 300,000 Citizens in the state of Georgia. Freda is a passionate humanitarian, engaging speaker and a genuine advocate for all people. A powerful and dynamic champion for justice, she is always smiling and sharing words of encouragement and wisdom from her personal testimony. Freda’s strong Christian values and entrepreneurial present her with opportunities to elicit and facilitate change. Freda’s path as a child to adulthood brought her to where she is today. Working closely with her Father, Mother and siblings in the community; as an 8th Grader at Charles L. Harper High School (Atlanta), with a host of media across the country on the campus, she was selected to introduce the belated Mayor Maynard H. Jackson, Jr. to the world during his first term speaking at a public school as the first African American Mayor in a major city.

Year 2012 Commendation presented by the State of Georgia Office of the Governor: Documented in the Legislative Realm as a high-ranking Citizen in the State of Georgia while being recognized for her tireless efforts of giving back to mankind over twenty-five (25) years. She was born in Alabama, but has been a resident of Georgia since age 9. Freda continues her Christian membership at her childhood church, Greater Leavy Missionary Baptist and is a proud mother of 2 beautiful children and a fun/loving grandson. When Freda finds rare moments of time, she enjoys spending them on self-reflection by the ocean (“Me Time”), family, journaling, horseback riding and watching the development of her beautiful grandson.
